What am I to do with 1GB?

Wednesday, September 29, 2004

Hmm... since recently I just upgraded to the Brinkster's Professional plan, and got my own domain now, I guess I would need to find something to do to fill up the space provided. And the first thing that comes to my mind is blog. That I already kau tim and now moving to the next big thing : web album.

I seriously cracked my head, scrapped the rust off my ASP coding ability, and actually starts doing ASP coding for the web album project. I started off simple : query the folder name, get the file names inside, and displays it as image. Simple, and done. Then I decided to go a bit deeper : query the folder, get the file names, input the files into a database table, query the database table and display it as images. SImple as well. Now the hardest part : query the folder, get the file names inside, check the filename whether exist in database table, which, if yes, no need to add the record, then add everything in, query the database table again and display it as image. This part, i'm still stuck. And still no go.

Almost giving up, went over to Jase for help. He saw the code, make some amendments, tried - work the first part. As it was late already just now, decided to continue it tomorrow. Boleh ke tak, depends on how blur am I tomorrow... :D
